Supervision
Some form of supervision should be provided at all times. If the jumping castle is being used in a private capacity then parents should make sure that there is a responsible adult or teenager by the jumping castle at all times. If the jumping castle is being used in a public place or at a public function such a fete or market , a fully trained supervisor should be on duty at all times to supervise the jumping castle during the event and the safe operations of the jumping Castle. Electrical Safety Switches
Because accidents, blackouts, storms and power surges do happen, jumping castles come with an Electrical Safety cut out switch in case of such an incident. Don’t risk your children and ensure your castle has the right electrical equipment in use and check it on a regular basis.
Pegs
Pegs used to hold down jumping castles should be no less than 300mm in length and a minimum thickness of 16mm The pegs should be rounded on the top and finish flush with the ground, to reduce the risk of trip hazards and injury.
